I’ve been quiet. Let’s catch a sunset Friday.

Hey friend,

It’s me, the prodigal daughter back in your inbox. I’ve been quiet. Life got loud, so I went still.

I don’t always know what to say when life gets heavy, so I say nothing. But connection keeps tapping me on the shoulder. Last week it tapped loudly.

I offered space for my photographer bestie Nev, to host a mini brand shoot. In that room full of creators, I found myself saying out loud,

I miss this!

I miss easy laughs. The “you get it” nods. Being around people who make things.

So I’m making space for it—simple, real, and close enough to watch the sun call it a day.

I listened, and I’m hosting something simple!

Sunset Kickback (Small Biz Edition) — $10
Friday, Aug 22 • 6:30–8:30 PM (ET)

Rooftop cards. Real convo. Light bites. Music low. Golden hour views.
Not NYC skyline, but the vibe is set. I may have a grown-folks sip.

$10 is the “bring the chips” cover. It helps me grab snacks, drinks, ice, and supplies so you can just show up.

Quick question Reader: what actually happens to your warm leads—the people you meet and the ones who DM “interested”? For me, it used to look like this: A stack of business cards on my desk I’d “get to tomorrow." I’d come home from a networking event with a stack of business cards. I’d place them neatly on my desk, telling myself, I’ll follow up tomorrow. But “tomorrow” turned into next week… and eventually, those cards ended up in a drawer. Out of sight. Out of mind. A busy DM inbox where...

Hello friend, Let me paint a picture. I used to come home from networking events with a stack of business cards. I’d put them on my desk, telling myself I’d follow up “tomorrow.” But tomorrow turned into weeks. By the time I got around to reaching out, the moment had passed. That potential client? Gone. The referral opportunity? Missed. Reader –– That stack of cards wasn’t just clutter. It was a pile of revenue leaks. And it’s not just business cards. For most service-based founders, the...
